This 1955-1957 Chevy 4-Door Hardtop RIGHT Front Door Window Regulator is a restored original part for restoring the factory door-window mechanism. It is intended for buyers who need the correct original-style component rather than a generic replacement.
SEC Restoration Notes
These original 1956-1957 Chevrolet 4-door Hardtop right front door window regulators have been fully restored. The door window regulators also fit a 1955-1956-1957 Buick, Pontiac & Oldsmobile. We replace any gears or nylon rollers that are broken or worn down. Often the springs are broken or the main rivet is loose causing the regulator to fail to raise the window all the way up. In this case, we install new springs or rivets so as to ensure that the regulator will work properly. When we get done with them they look and function like new. NOTE: The 1955-1957 2-Door Sedan regulator looks nearly identical to the 4-Door Hardtop regulator. A few key features to tell them apart: Sedan uses the groove rollers while the Hardtop uses the solid rollers Sedan main arm is 16 3/4" while the Hardtop is 16 5/8" Sedan has a 3/4" slot on the main arm while the Hardtop has a 1" slot
