Knit an heirloom blanket inspired by the classic Strawberry Thief wallpaper pattern by William Morris.

Morris DK is West Yorkshire Spinners' collaborative yarn with The William Morris Society.  Morris DK is made using three quality British fleeces; lustrous and luxurious Bluefaced Leicester, soft and durable Bluefaced Kerry Hill, and the rustic and charming Masham. Combined with a carefully curated colour palette, capturing the iconic hues of the Victorian era.

  • Strawberry Thief Blanket Knitting Pattern by Debbie Bliss and Chloé Elizabeth Birch
  • 14 balls of West Yorkshire Spinners Morris DK (50% Bluefaced Leicester, 25% Masham, 25% Bluefaced Kerry Hill) in Blackthorn (6 x 50g balls), Strawberry (3 x 50g balls), Yew (1 x 50g ball), Daisy (1 x 50g ball), Marigold (1 x 50g ball), Hyacinth (1 x 50g ball), Rose (1 x 50g ball)
