De TTE6XX is de nieuwste hybride performance-upgrade van TheTurboEngineers, ontwikkeld voor de BMW B58 3.0 zescilinder turbomotor zoals toegepast in de Toyota Supra A90. De TTE370 is een performance-upgrade turbocharger van TheTurboEngineers, speciaal ontwikkeld voor de Ford Focus MK3 ST EcoBoost. Deze upgrade is ontworpen als een betrouwbare en effectieve stap omhoog ten opzichte van de standaard turbo, met behoud van OEM-pasvorm, snelle respons en dagelijkse bruikbaarheid.

De TTE370 maakt gebruik van originele BorgWarner behuizingen, inclusief het geïntegreerde uitlaatspruitstuk. De standaard compressor wordt vervangen door een TTE billet compressorwiel, wat zorgt voor een hogere luchtstroom en verbeterde efficiëntie. In combinatie met een geüpgraded lagerpakket en een door TTE aangepaste originele BorgWarner actuator levert deze turbo een stabiele en duurzame prestatieverbetering.

Met de juiste hardware en software is de TTE370 capabel tot circa 370 pk, zonder in te leveren op rijcomfort of betrouwbaarheid. De installatie is volledig plug & play, waardoor de upgrade geschikt is voor zowel straatgebruik als sportief rijden.

Balancering

Zoals bij alle TTE turbochargers wordt ook de TTE370 uiterst nauwkeurig gebalanceerd. Onderdelen worden eerst low-speed uitgebalanceerd tot 2800 rpm, waarna de complete kern high-speed VSR-gebalanceerd wordt. Elke turbo wordt geleverd met een genummerd balans-testresultaatdocument, wat garant staat voor duurzaamheid en mechanische rust.
