Rose wijn uit de Provence

De Provence is een prachtig wijngebied. Jaarlijks wordt het gebied bezocht door duizenden en nog eens duizenden toeristen. Genieten van de bruisende badplaatsen en de prachtige natuur. Echter is Provence bij ons vooral bekend om haar excellente wijnen en dan vooral de rosé! Wat wie wordt er nou niet vrolijk van een zonnige dag op het terras met een glas Provence rosé in de hand?

De Whispering Angel Rose uit de Provence

Een van de mooiste wijnhuizen is Chateau D’Esclans, producent van Whispering Angel. Het Chateau was jarenlang in handen van een Zweedse familie die er een prima buitenhuis in zag. Sacha Lichine (inderdaad, van de beroemde familie uit de Bordeaux) zag potentie in de wijngaarden en kocht in 2006 het prachtige Chateau. Met haar gele kleur en blauwe luiken, is het een idyllisch geheel in het landschap van de Provence.

Sacha Lichine trok een gerenommeerde wijnmaker aan en begon 15 jaar geleden met de productie van Whispering Angel Rosé. In een betrekkelijk korte tijd wist Whispering Angel, ondanks haar naam, de wijnwereld wakker te schudden. Wat een geweldige Provence Rosé. Dit jaar mogen wij de grote flessen voorstellen aan het grote publiek. Dat betekent met plezier met een grote fles Whispering Angel Rosé.
