De hardmetalen vertanding zorgt voor een langere levensduur dan reguliere HSS kernboren en maakt de boren geschikt voor boren in staal, RVS, non-ferro, kunststof en gietijzer. De kernboren hebben een Weldon aansluiting en zijn geschikt voor gebruik in een magneetkernboormachine. Wij raden voor hard gelegeerd staal en RVS het gebruik van de optionele centreerpen sterk aan (zie tabblad accessoires/past op). De boren zijn voorbehandeld met olie om roestvorming tijdens transport en opslag te voorkomen. Kernboren dienen altijd gebruikt te worden in combinatie met snijolie. Op de magneetboormachine zit een snijolie toevoer. Dit verlengt de levensduur van de kernboren en van de (magneet) boormachine.Passend op Makita Model: HB500
