Cignomoro is gelegen in Taranto in het hart van Puglia en produceert sinds 1921 kwaliteitswijnen. Hier heeft de zee en het grote aantal zonuren een sterke invloed op de smaken en het terroir. Er wordt het liefst gewerkt met inheemse druivensoorten zoals Negroamaro, Primitivo, Malvasia, Susumaniello, Nero di Troia en Aglianico die het in dit gebied uitstekend doen. Bij Cignomoro streven ze naar de hoogste kwaliteit en blijven daarom de wijnen en het vinificatieproces continu verbeteren. De Susumaniello is een lokale specialiteit uit Puglia, alleen is deze druif vrij zeldzaam. De Primitivo, ook een lokale specialiteit, wordt veel geproduceerd, terwijl de Susumaniello druif veel moeilijk te vinden is. Daarom zien we dat de Susumaniello vaker in blends wordt gebruikt. Dat maakt deze 100 procent Susumaniello des te specialer!Handmatige oogst voor Cignomoro Susumaniello Salento
De druiven worden volledig met de hand geoogst en vervolgens in kleine kratten naar de wijnkelder van Cignomoro gebracht. Hier worden de druiven geperst en in roestvrijstalen tanks gefermenteerd. Het sap blijft voor meer dan vier weken in contact met de druivenschilletjes. Dit zorgt ervoor dat de wijn de tannines en kleur van de schilletjes optimaal opneemt. De wijn rust hierna nog even en wordt daarna direct gebotteld. Het is daarmee een relatief jonge wijn. De wijn heeft een dieprode kleur in het glas waarbij we direct kunnen genieten van de aroma’s van rijp fruit, frambozen, bosbessen en wat kruiden. Hij heeft een harmonieuze smaak en een lange aangename afdronk met kruidigheid. De wijn is mineralig en is zeer fruitig. Het is geen zware wijn maar juist in vergelijking met wijnen uit Puglia lekker licht.Shipping Notes

Small for a medium

I got medium.. and it does not look like a medium ball.. it’s rather small. It’s pretty sturdy and my dogs went crazy for it but it’s definitely not the size I thought it was going to be 😂 my dogs chewed one strap within 5 minutes of having it but they’re dogs and that’s what they do lol. I bought this to be an outside ball for them! It’s pretty light but that’s probably because it’s small. Not soft? But feels like a soccer ball. It also had no smell coming out of the box. Also comes with a pump and an extra thing to put in the ball to pump in case you lose one. I like these balls, I expect them to be chewed up because that’s what I bought them for! Fun for my dogs and they are! But the size… it is not medium and that’s the only reason for 3 stars 😂😂😂 Other then that I recommend, your dog will definitely love this! Inside or outside playing! Alone or with another dog!

Great toy for a GSD

My GSD loves to grab the flaps and shake her head with the ball bouncing of the side of her head. This is her favorite toy. I thought she would puncture it but it has held up great since she likes to grab the flaps rather than biting the ball.

Perfect for my dog

Pup loves this!

My pup loves his soccer balls. These are very durable although if you have a dog that doesn't grasp the concept of using the loops/straps to carry it, teeth could puncture it. They are a good value for the money if your dog likes to chase the ball, I get the smaller size ball for my dog (medium dog). They come with a pump but if you have a bicycle pump or a battery operated pump, it will fill much faster. Ours stay outside and even in the winter, they hold up well, just need a bit more air occasionally to keep it pumped up.
