Galbanum pasta (Ferula galbaniflua)

Galbanum is een gom die gewonnen wordt uit de wortels van een struik die 1 tot 2 meter hoog wordt. Deze wierooksubstantie wordt al sinds mensenheugenis gebruikt en wordt ook wel 'Moederhars' genoemd vanwege haar balsemende, muskusachtige geur. De zachte geur nodigt uit om ruimte te maken in je gevoel en blokkades te laten smelten. Galbanum ondersteunt een vrije stroom van gevoelsenergie en helpt je om je te bevrijden van wat je niet langer dient. Het is een waardevolle toevoeging die je kunt mengen met andere wierooksoorten.

Gebruik

Je kunt de Galbanum pasta branden op een vuurvaste schaal met houtskool. Een zeefbrander is ook heel geschikt, waarbij het branden langzaam en gecontroleerd verloopt. Dit maakt het brandmoment extra aandachtig. De hars laat zich bovendien goed mengen met andere soorten wierook, zodat je je eigen rituele geur kunt samenstellen.

Om het gebruik nog zorgvuldiger te maken, kun je kiezen voor gerelateerde accessoires zoals een tang om houtskool veilig aan te steken, een tang voor de wierookzeef, een stalen borsteltje om de zeef te reinigen en een fazantenveer om de geur subtiel door de ruimte te verspreiden. Een losse wierookbrander-zeef van 125 mm past prima op een olieverdamper als het bakje verwijderd wordt.

Any dog, any level of pulling will dismantle these. We’ve managed to reinsert the rope to a couple of these and KNOT it, which gives you a shorter rope but a toy that can withstand some play. But if I had wanted a DIY toy, I’d have used the balls and rope I already own.

Good and comfortable toe socks

First time wearing toe socks. I bought them to help prevent athlete's foot between the toes, which I'm prone to getting. Being a guy, I did have some reservations because I thought they'd look silly or whatever but I went ahead and bought these since they're going inside shoes anyway. I'm so glad I did! I wear these ZAKASA toe socks, along with the Dr. Wolf orthotics which have good arch support and a metatarsal arch just behind the metatarsal heads. I also wear the Bronax shoes which have a wide forefoot to let the toes spread out. The combination of the shoes, socks, and orthotics has worked wonders on my feet! No athlete's foot either! I highly recommend these ZAKASA toe socks. I've bought two 5 packs already. No regrets!
