The Pussy Pendants (ook wel kut ketting) zijn kleine kunstwerkjes, handgemaakt met veel liefde en toewijding door kunstenaar Denise Rosenboom. Met deze opmerkelijke ketting wil Rosenboom diversiteit, in al haar vormen en maten, vieren. Elke ketting is uniek, net als elk mens.

Deze hangers worden handgemaakt van polymeerklei en afgebakken in de keuken van de kunstenaar. Dit exemplaar in de maat small is ongeveer 3 tot 4 centimeter groot. Bij de hanger krijg je ook een goudkleurige ketting van 62 centimeter die je zelf naar wens in kan korten. Het geheel zit in een chic, zwart doosje. Ook leuk als cadeautje!

Over Denise Rosenboom

Denise Rosenboom studeerde aan de Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. Hoewel ze vooral bekend is van de markante Pussy Pendants, is ze ook breder actief als kunstenaar en maakt onder andere tekeningen, schilderwerk en performances. Haar signatuur is gebaseerd op old fashioned graphic design, altijd met oog voor lijnen, contrast en details.

De Pussy Pendants zijn onstaan om vrijheid en diversiteit te vieren. De unieke, handgemaakte hangers komen regelmatig voorbij in de media en doen internationaal stof opwaaien.

Omdat de Pussy Pendants handgemaakt worden, hebben wij geen grote voorraad om overproductie tegen te gaan. Wel is het mogelijk om een ketting voor je na te bestellen. Poor quality control - maybe outlet store leftovers

The two shoes were not the same size. They were both labeled 11 1/2 but one shoe was larger than the other and the fit was poor. I returned the first pair and ordered a replacement. This time the shoes were close to the same size but too loose and the left one has sewing issues. I've bought Johnston & Murphy for years because of the quality. These were to replace an existing pair of burgundy penny loafers that have finally worn out (even after several heal/sole replacements). That is the expected quality. I suspect Nashville Shoe Warehouse may be handling shoes that didn't measure up for the quality; more like an outlet mall than getting the J&M quality I've come to expect. Update: went to Johnston & Murphy site to buy "direct" from the manufacturer. There were several recent reviews where the shoes were long and didn't fit properly. Genesco - please step up the manufacture / crafting of these classic shoes to the level of quality they used to have.
