Performance

Mercedes-AMG GT R Geschiedenis

Bij de lancering had de GT R verschillende uiterlijke veranderingen ondergaan ten opzichte van de standaardauto. De styling van de GT R is meer vergelijkbaar met die van de AMG GT3-raceauto. De basis GT-variant kreeg echter een aantal van deze uiterlijke veranderingen als onderdeel van een milde facelift in het modeljaar 2017. De GT R is in november 2016 in de verkoop gegaan en de levering begon in 2017.

Voor het wereldkampioenschap Formule 1 van 2018 werd de GT R de officiële veiligheidsauto van de Formule 1. Tijdens de Toscaanse Grand Prix van 2020 had de Safety Car een rode kleurstelling in plaats van het traditionele zilveren om de 1.000e start van de Grand Prix van Scuderia Ferrari te herdenken. Voor het F1-seizoen 2021 draagt ​​de GT R Safety Car permanent een rode kleurstelling (samen met de sponsor CrowdStrike van het Mercedes F1 Team) in plaats van het traditionele zilver om de kans te vergroten dat coureurs de Safety Car bij slecht zicht zien.

Nurburgring

De Mercedes AMG GT-R voltooide een ronde van het Nürburgring Nordschleife-circuit in 7:10.92, in een test uitgevoerd door het Duitse tijdschrift Sport Auto. Dit leverde hem de zevende positie op voor straatlegale voertuigen in 2019. Een roadster-versie werd geïntroduceerd in maart 2019 en zou beperkt zijn tot 750 eenheden.

She loves to chew this thing, chase this thing, sleep with this thing. I most certainly recommend this ball. If it is I'ah proof then it is most certainly, 100% a durable ball and worth every penny
