Blazon Cabernet Sauvignon is een karaktervolle, houtgerijpte rode wijn uit Lodi, Californië, die kracht en verfijning weet te combineren. De wijn vertoont een rijk robijnrode kleur en onthult aroma’s van bramen, kruidnagel en kaneel. De smaak is verleidelijk met tonen van cherry cola, subtiele vanille van het eiken en een fluwelen tanninestructuur dankzij 12 maanden rijping in Frans eiken.

Wijngaarden en regio

Deze wijn is afkomstig uit de Lodi-regio, waar een warm dag- en koel nachtritme zorgt voor optimale rijping met behoud van zuren. Oak Ridge Winery gebruikt duurzame wijngaardmethodes die bijdragen aan de biodiversiteit en kwaliteit van de druiven.

Vinificatie en rijping

Na de oogst wordt de wijn zorgvuldig geassembleerd en gedurende 12 maanden gerijpt in Franse eikenhouten vaten. Deze houtopvoeding brengt diepte en finesse, benadrukt door tonen van vanille en specerij, terwijl de structuur behoudt waar de Blazon-serie bekend om staat.

Cabernet Sauvignon – 77%
Levert de wijn zijn krachtige ruggengraat, structuur en donkere fruittonen.

Merlot – 18%
Voegt rijpe bessen en zachtheid toe in de smaakbeleving.

Petite Sirah – 5%
Voor extra kleur, concentraat en kruidige nuances.
