Nou dat is allemaal gelukt en dat is mede gelukt door de jaren lange ervaring van Aurelio Montes. Hij starte namelijk al in 1987 het wijnhuis vlakbij de hoofdstad Santiago. Hij wilde samen met drie partners een wijnhuis opzetten waarbij je alle mooie eigenschappen van Chili kunt proeven. Nou dat is gelukt want het wijnhuis heft inmiddels vele wijn prijzen mogen ontvangen en de schatkamer is hiermee volledig gevuld. Zo ontving deze rode Montes Purple Angel zelfs 99 punten van James Suckling. En ja zeg nu zelf dat gebeurt niet zo maar!De beste rode wijn van Montes
Voor deze rode wijn gebruikt men de druiven Carmenere en Petit Verdot die afkomstig zijn van de Finca de Apalta an de Arcangel de Marchique in de Colchaqua Valley. De bodem structuur met veel organisch materiaal geeft een unieke oogst. Het perfecte klimaat waarbij de zon haar werk kan doen en de wind vanaf de Tinguirrica rivie, die de druiven de juiste verkoeling geeft maakt alles uniek. En dat alles in combinatie met de oude wijnstokken geeft de basis voor deze top wijn. Alle druiven worden met de hand geoogst en vervolgens maar liefst achttien maanden gelagerd op eiken houten vaten. Voor bijna de gehele wijn gebruikt men nieuwe en ongebruikte vaten waardoor het veel smaak af kan geven aan deze Montes Purple Angel.Ongekende kracht deze Montes Purple Angel
Wat en paradepaartje zeg, een rode wijn met een geheel eigen stijl en afkomstig van de mooiste wijngaarden van Montes. Laat deze rode wijn minimaal een aantal uren van te voren ademen en u kunt hem het beste decanteren. De geur is overweldigend en heeft ontzettend veel indrukken. We hebben er een paar opgeschreven, veel zwart fruit, lichte kruiden, vanille, ceder hout, leer, chocolade en vanille. Later als de wijn echt goed los komt noteerde wij ook wat kleine sporen van mokka en cacao. In de smaak is het een betovering, veel rijkdom op de tong van vers en rijp zwart fruit met daarbij wat kruiden en vanille. Achter in de keel en op de tong een lichte zwerm van zoetige kruiden, pure chocolade en wat toffee.Shipping Notes

Very tough & VERY heavy

My dog is a half black lab/half pittie & a very aggressive chewer she goes through toy bones very quickly, to the point they're so slivered up within 2 days, sometimes slightly longer, I have to get rid of them, they never last long, except for whole antlers and some split antlers. Although she rarely touches the whole antlers . Anyways, this is a great tough toy for strong large breeds. It squeaks in the center if you squeeze hard enough but the toy/bone was a bit too heavy for my girl. I got her the next smaller one and she still plays with the big heavier one more than the one that fits her perfectly so go figure. It's a great product and definitely recommend for heavy chewers. I only took a star off because of the weight I was extremely surprised by how heavy it was, but that's not necessarily a bad thing depending on the dog, this size is just not for my dog. I think I've had it about a month and she does play with it, not as much as her other toys, but it's still in amazing shape even with her heavy chewing.

Maybe not for super aggressive chewers

I had high hopes for this toy, I was so excited about it. I have aggressive chewers, two Malinois/Dutch Shepard mixes and a Pit. The Shepard's chewed pieces off of it in literally 5 minutes. At the ends there is a small lip and that's where they started chewing pieces off. I had ordered a second one before I gave them this one (early Christmas present) because when I received it I noticed it felt very sturdy and durable. They do like it so since they already chewed this one I'm going to see if I can shave that lip off and maybe they won't get anymore pieces off. That'll decide if I return the one that arrives tomorrow. Maybe not good for super aggressive chewers. It's very thick and seems well made. Might just be better for other dogs.

Fantastic for rough chewing

Our big boy is rough with his toys and always seems to disintegrate his toys in seconds. I had seen this with hoping this will be the toy he doesn’t destroy. On day 2 now with the toy and he’s obsessed, even feel asleep with the toy in his mouth and still in one piece. Highly recommended for tough chewers.

Good but not for my dog

Dog loves it but already falling apart. Can't seem to find a truly safe dog toy that won't come apart with my aggressive chewer. Had to toss it before pieces got ingested. But great toy in the begining. Just not safe for pit/staff type dog that destroy and chew.
