Gabbiano Vernaccia
Gabbiano Vernaccia is een frisse en elegante witte wijn uit Italië, afkomstig uit Toscane in het midden van het land, rondom het historische San Gimignano. Deze wijn wordt gemaakt van 100% Vernaccia, een druif die al eeuwenlang bekendstaat in deze streek. Na de oogst worden de druiven zacht geperst en koel vergist in roestvrijstalen tanks om de frisse fruitige smaken te behouden. Zo ontstaat een levendige Toscaanse witte wijn met een puur en verfijnd karakter.

In de geur ontdek je citrus, groene appel, witte perzik en subtiele bloemige tonen. De smaak is fris, droog en soepel met een lichte mineraliteit en een aangename, verkwikkende afdronk. Deze wijn voelt mooi fris aan in de mond en is heerlijk bij gegrilde vis, schaal- en schelpdieren, salades of lichte pasta’s. Serveer gekoeld op 8-10°C voor de beste smaakbeleving.

Wijnhuis Gabbiano
Castello di Gabbiano is een historisch wijnhuis in Toscane met een rijke geschiedenis die teruggaat tot de 14e eeuw. Het indrukwekkende kasteel dateert zelfs uit 1124 en ligt tussen de glooiende heuvels vlak bij Florence. Team Verboon Wines had de eer om het wijnhuis Gabbiano te bezoeken in april 2026.
