Daarnaast maak je ook een groot tragedie rondom Naked Snake mee, een verlies dat gebeurtenissen in de latere spellen in de Metal Gear Solid-tijdlijn in werking zet.

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops bevat een camerapositie vanuit de derdepersoon die geoptimaliseerd is voor het spelen op een draagbaar systeem. Op deze manier kun je meer zien van de omgeving, sneller bedreigingen herkennen en de beste plekken om te sluipen en om je te verstoppen ontdekken. It's okay, we still were able to make it work, just something to be aware of. It'd be better if they made that part from metal. Otherwise they seem sturdy and were hoping they last well. Solar is a fabulous thing. Lights up our nights!!
