De 'Katsura' valt op door zijn roze bloemen, die in het voorjaar verschijnen en een vrolijke noot toevoegen aan uw buitenruimte. Na de bloei ontwikkelt de plant glanzende, donkergroene bladeren met opvallende rode nieuwe scheuten, wat zorgt voor een dynamisch kleurenspel gedurende het hele jaar.

Deze Rotsheide is winterhard en relatief eenvoudig te verzorgen. Hij gedijt het beste op een plekje in de halfschaduw in zure, goed doorlatende grond. Regelmatig water geven, vooral tijdens droge periodes, is aan te raden. Met zijn compacte groeiwijze is de 'Katsura' ideaal voor zowel kleine tuinen als voor in potten op het terras of balkon. Get help to mount on the wall!
sturdy, easy assembly, looks nice, but a bear to mount on wall by yourself. It is heavy and can be awkward to hold and drill holes as well. a template would have been nice and at the time i didn't think to make one. even then it can be tricky to find the hole you drilled in the wall. Also i recommend once mounted and if not in a stud to find a stud and drill a third hole with a longer screw to screw into a stud just to make sue it is sturdy. I mounted mine above the toilet in my bathroom and the crews are in sheet rock with plastic mounts. I drilled a hole though the cabinet brace and into a stud. Visions of it crashing onto my head while sitting there. LOL. a second person for install will longer the difficulty a lot.
