Je nieuwe vriend: stabiel, betrouwbaar en gastvrij

Waarom de tafel Kumpel heet? Dit staat voor 'pal' ofwel vriend en aangezien de Kumpel tafel de kenmerken van een goede vriend heeft: stabiel, betrouwbaar en gastvrij, mag hij deze naam dragen. De stalen schragen zijn niet alleen stoer en toch elegant, maar bieden ook zeeën van beenruimte. Naar eigen zeggen hebben designers Philipp Hermes en Dustin Jessen zelfs de schraag met de meeste beenruimte ter wereld ontworpen.

Kumpel schragentafel met extra beenruimte

Kumpel combineert een robuust, eenvoudig schoon te maken blad van multiplex en linoleum met stalen schragen. Elke schraag bestaat uit een enkele gebogen stalen buis waarvan de uiteinden zorgvuldig aan elkaar gelast zijn. Het resultaat: een onafgebroken, vloeiende vorm die veel meer beenruimte biedt dan een standaard schraag.

Hermes/Jessen Industrial Design

Voor het ontwerp van de vriendelijke tafel heeft Functionals de handen ineengeslagen met Hermes/Jessen Industrial Design. De Duitse ontwerpers Philipp Hermes en Dustin Jessen werken al samen sinds hun studie Industrial Design aan de Folkwang Universiteit in Essen. Hier zag ook de eerste versie van Kumpel het levenslicht: een flexibel systeem van losse schragen en bladen speciaal ontworpen voor designstudenten. Op de designcampus vind je nu zo’n 500 exemplaren in klaslokalen en studio’s.

Schragen los verkrijgbaar

Deze Kumpel tafel is verfijnder en de schragen zitten – in tegenstelling tot het ontwerp voor de universiteit - stevig vast aan het blad. Om het originele ontwerp eer aan te doen zijn de schragen echter ook los verkrijgbaar. Combineer de losse schragen met een blad naar keuze – bijvoorbeeld hout of glas – en creëer een unieke tafel. Kleuren frame en tafelblad

Kumpel is verkrijgbaar in drie kleurencombinaties: zwart frame met zwart blad, wit frame met gebroken wit blad en wit frame met donkergroen blad.

These are literally the nastiest possible version of a meat stick I've ever had. Bought them for the price and for lunches to take to work. As it would turn out, I couldn't give them away to family. Everyone who bravely tried it were met with the same gross, weirdly soft, texture. No matter if it was refrigerated or room temp - it was eerily soft I felt like I was eating baby food. The flavor was... Fine? I guess. It didn't wow me either way, just kinda existed. They are also pretty small, I expected more than 4in per item for the price. I thought the price was good when I thought they were bigger, but when I discovered they were smaller, the price became less worth it. Overall, I'm not sure who the target audience for these it because adults and kids alike did not like them or their weird texture.

Droewars are lightly seasoned beef jerky sticks and, although I have not seen the numbers, they seem to be only lightly salted (important for me). The meat is not chewy or grisly, so the beef cuts they use must be prime. This is the first time I have tried the Ayoba-Yo brand and I am happy with my purchase.
