Pachysandra terminalis ‘Green Carpet’ is een sterke, wintergroene bodembedekker die ideaal is voor schaduwrijke plekken in de tuin. De plant vormt een dichte, lage mat van glanzend groen blad en zorgt het hele jaar door voor een verzorgde en rustige uitstraling.

In het voorjaar (maart tot mei) bloeit ‘Green Carpet’ met kleine, witte bloeiaren die subtiel boven het blad uitsteken. Door zijn dichte groei helpt deze plant effectief bij het onderdrukken van onkruid en het beschermen van de bodem.

Standplaats en verzorging
Pachysandra terminalis ‘Green Carpet’ groeit het beste in halfschaduw tot schaduw en in humusrijke, goed doorlatende grond. De plant is winterhard en onderhoudsarm. Eventueel kan hij licht worden teruggesnoeid in het vroege voorjaar om hem compact en fris te houden.
