Het huis Billecart-Salmon biedt een assortiment elegante en edele champagnes, wat de doorbraak betekende in de Franse en internationale gastronomie. Opgericht in 1818 door Nicolas François Billecart en Elisabeth Salmon, is het motto altijd hetzelfde geweest. Met de focus op kwaliteit en streven naar uitmuntendheid, produceert dit huis hun Champagnes met veel elegantie. Vandaag de dag staat de zevende generatie in de vorm van Francois Roland Billecart aan het roer. De druiven zijn afkomstig van veertig verschillende cru-locaties in Champagne op een oppervlakte van ongeveer 220 hectare. De Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier en Pinot Noir druiven worden zorgvuldig geoogst in de wijnmakerij volgt een koude stabilisatie op 5 graden gevolgd door een koele vergisting in roestvrijstalen tanks. De temperatuur is in eerste instantie 12 graden en stijgt geleidelijk naar 18 graden voor de malolactische gisting. De uitzonderlijke cuvée wordt tot slot volledig op hout gevinificeerd.Hoe smaakt de Champagne Billecart Salmon Brut Sous Bois?
De Brut Sous Bois is een zuiver wijn met een fonkelende gele kleur met gouden details. In de glas dansen de belletjes waarbij je direct geniet van de intense en complexe geur. Dankzij de vinificatie op hout heeft het een rijke geur met gedroogde vruchten, verse citrus, witte vruchten en verleidelijke nuances van roomboter. Op de tong vloeit de complexiteit en is de champagne mondvullend met een zachte structuur. Heerlijk romig met levendige frisheid. Ook in de smaak profiteert de wijn van de houtlagering. Fabulous product! Made my skin feel soft!

This product goes on smooth and a little goes a long way. I used it today for the first time and was very pleased that it held up to my sweating in the heat doing farm work! It doesn’t bother my very sensitive skin, in fact it is quite soothing. A little goes a long way. With about a quarter size amount I was able to do both arms and my face. I was outside for several hours and didn’t burn like I usually do. It is basically unscented which is nice and isn’t sticky.

Not a bad sunscreen. I wore it yesterday at a water park, reapplied every 1-2 hours, and didn’t get burned. Works well as a sunscreen and has a very neutral scent, which I appreciate a lot. However, like most mineral sunscreens it feels a bit heavy and definitely has a white cast. I’m pretty pale and still had a hard time getting it to blend in. It’s priced well, available at many super markets, offers good protection, and the neutral scent means I will continue using it (I stopped using some other sunblocks because of the scent alone). Just know it feels heavy and has a white cast.

Favorite Mineral Sunscreen

This is my go to mineral sunscreen. It's very effective at protecting your skin from the harsh UV rays. It great to use for any water based activities, since it stays on your skin regardless of how wet it gets. I'm also able to use it under my eyes without it irritating them. Though it does leave behind a white cast after applying, but I personally don't mind it.

My favorite mineral sunscreen for Hawaii. I just got back from a week in Maui. I took 3 different brands of mineral sunscreen. For Maui it has to say mineral to be allowed. Of the 3 the Blue Lizard was our favorite. It went on white but rubbed in the quickest. We applied in our room before going out for several hours and never got a burn the entire week. I only reapplied once on a hike. Would recommend Blue Lizard!

Great for very sensitive skin!

Use this every day. It's my primer. Lol I have extremely sensitive skin to the point where one wrong move lands me in the ER. This worked for me. Slight greasiness but works well for me as I can't wear foundation. This at least hydrates and protects. Love it.
