Designed to meet the demands of modern bassists, this compact unit combines Ampeg's signature tones with flexible routing, cab simulation, and performance-focused features. The updated Super Grit Technology (SGT) circuit offers selectable SVT and B15 voicings and is paired with a footswitchable 3-band EQ, now enhanced with a sweepable midrange control for precise tonal sculpting.

For added tonal shaping, the SGT-DI includes Ultra-Hi and a 3-way Ultra-Lo switch, along with a built-in 10:1 compressor that offers subtle leveling or heavier control depending on your playing style. The onboard impulse response (IR) loader and cab simulator allow players to load up to three custom cabinet IRs using the free Ampeg IR Loader software, or choose from three factory-loaded cab options. Players who register their unit can also access the 75th Anniversary IR Pack, which includes iconic cabinets like the SVT-810AV, SVT-610HLF, and SVT-15E.

Connectivity includes balanced XLR and 1/4-inch line outputs for flexible routing to front-of-house or recording setups.
