Kramer's Volante Quilt HHFR follows in classic Kramer tradition of bold, fast and expressive double-cutaway guitars. Reformatted and reshaped for the modern era, the Volante Quilt HHFR introduces an exciting new set of features. This begins with an alder body shaped in a classic Kramer contoured form. Easily carried and mobile, the alder matches with a AAAA quilt maple veneer top that gives it a distinct and knockout look. This aesthetic is matched with the guitar's fine playability with a thermally aged three-piece laminated maple neck. A satin finish on this neck makes it seamlessly playable from its Elliptical C-shaped profile makes for an excellent addition to fall in line with Kramer's playable tradition.

The laminated maple neck is paired with a seamless and fluid ebony fingerboard. Twenty-four Jumbo frets with Mother of Pearl diamond inlays the ebony for a speedy fretting experience. Established fans of '80s Kramer classics – the shredders and such – are sure to connect with this ebony for its ability to enable players to launch from one end of the scale to the other. Enhancing this playability, the fingerboard features a compound radius that measures at 10"-14". Starting rounder near the nut but flattening towards the body, this compound radius builds upon the entire playing experience to inspire fast travels across all frets.

Audibly, this Volante loads in two Kramer USA pickups. These American-made electronics comes together as two Kramer Neptune Humbucker pickups in the bridge and neck positions. A five-way pickup selector switch rolls through a varied spectrum of sounds perfect for producing clean, driven, or dirty tones. These pickups punch in with the distinction of being hum-cancelling in all positions keeping everything airtight no matter the volume.

The Volante's hardware setup also offers plenty to get into. Onboard, the Volante features a Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo bridge with a R3 Locking nut to match. These two hardware specs encourage players to drop deep vibrato bends into their playing at any and every opportunity.
