A mail box can be not only a simple post box but a masterpiece which decorates your house (yard) and outlines its exterior features.
Here is a hand forged mailbox made in a view of a fortress. It has many nice elements. It is done in the technique of the artistic forging. There is no lock in it (but can be made with a lock). You can drop the letters into a slot above the mailbox gate. You can take the letters out bu opening mailbox gate.

Colour: black covered by copper/bronze patina.

The way how it was created: we combine traditional blacksmith techniques, perfected over hundreds of years of experimentation and development , with modern forms and methods to produce beautifully distinct pieces of functional art. Each piece is forged at extremely high temperature and hammered by hand. Pliable when glowing hot, the iron is shaped into graceful, flowing forms. In our world of high technology, there is a distinct place for organic forms and hand-wrought metal design elements.

CUSTOMIZATION
Custom orders are welcome (different house number, colour, size, content (by adding additional elements (flowers, birds, other insects ....), lock, latch). I can do the same post box with different sizes and colours (it can be hung on the wall or stand up on its own, either vertical or horizontal). Custom orders are welcome. Please contact me to discuss the customization issue.

It will be done "to order", please allow 3-4 weeks for its making.
