At its centre is the rugged 3" Hive Fire Starter, fitted with ultra-durable Ferro rods capable of up to 20,000 strikes. The Hive base offers a stable platform for tinder preparation, even on damp ground, while pairing seamlessly with the striker to create powerful sparks. Combined with the waxed canvas tinder mat, paraffin wax-infused jute wick (burning up to 30 minutes), and the anodized aluminium micro bellows for oxygen supply, you’ll have everything needed to ignite a strong, controlled flame quickly and safely.
The kit also features a 550 survival cord containing fishing line, waxed jute, and parachute cordage for versatile field use. The handcrafted waxed canvas mat includes an ABS plastic insert for added stability, while the heat-treated steel striker, Ferro rod, and stainless steel carabiners provide lasting durability and easy carry options.
