The body of the StingRay Special 4 is masterfully selected for its lightweight properties. This is synergistically combined with enhanced weight relief contours and light hardware throughout, ensuring a perfectly balanced instrument that promises comfort even in prolonged sessions.
The StingRay Special is furnished with a roasted maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard, both of which are meticulously finished with gunstock oil and hand-rubbed wax. This thoughtful finishing process translates into a playing experience that is unbelievably smooth. The 5-bolt sculpted neck joint guarantees stability and unrestricted access to all 22 stainless steel frets.
Recognized for its substantial and super-punchy low end, the StingRay Special owes this attribute to the robust Music Man Neodymium Humbucker located at the bridge.
