The Maton Guitars EBG808 Nashville is the primary acoustic guitar of country legend Keith Urban. The Nashville model sports a very "Music City" style sunburst finish and herringbone purfling, to appeal to the Tennessee audience and my goodness we can tell you that they were successful!
The Maton Guitars EBG808 Nashville is constructed with a Sitka Spruce top combined with Victorian Blackwood back and sides. Sitka is versatile and articulate, with easy velocity control and drive. When paired with Victorian Blackwood, you'll get a wonderful sweet high end, with great note definition and mid range control. Victorian Blackwood also produces some sweeter overtones, giving strong resonance and warmth without sounding boomy on the low end like rosewood.
A Maton is not complete without their AP5 Pro pickup system. The AP5 Pro is the best acoustic pickup system in the world and features a cardioid microphone (on an adjustable arm) combined with an undersaddle piezo that blend together to create an authentic (yet very customizable) acoustic guitar sound!
