Have you heard the legend of Cooter McGee? They never did find the body of that murderous old moonshiner. Every time a hiker or a partying college student goes missing on Owlshead Mountain, people say Cooter McGee did it. They laugh when they say it. But never too loudly.

Fear of Cooter McGee isn't the only thing to haunt those Vermont woods where the hills rise wild. A few years back, two surveyors disappeared and floods killed over a dozen searchers. Now a pair of blasters have vanished while preparing to build a set of world-class ski slopes.

Delta Green knows what really happened in those catastrophic "floods." Its leaders decide it's time to deal with the threat of Owlshead Mountain once and for all. Does that mean a crazy outlaw who should be long dead, or...something worse?
