Het kwaliteitswijnhuis Venturini Baldini werd in 1976 opgericht in de heuvels tussen Parma en Reggio Emilia op een historisch landgoed uit het begin van de 16e eeuw. Het is nu een van de oudste producenten van Lambrusco en mousserende wijn in het Italiaanse wijnbouwgebied Emilia. Sinds 2015 is het eigendom van Julia en Giuseppe Prestia, die een project zijn gestart om de hele structuur opnieuw te lanceren en het gebied en de wijnen sterk te verbeteren. Naast de bekroonde rosé mousserende wijn, Cadelvento Rosé, maakt een nieuwe wijn zijn debuut die het assortiment uitbreidt: Cadelvento Blanc de Blancs, De wijngaarden bevinden zich in de heuvels tussen Parma en Reggio Emilia op een hoogte van 370 meter. Hier heerst een perfect microklimaat om wijnstokken te laten groeien. De zon doorbreekt de wintermist en de koele bries tempert de zomerhitte. Het landgoed van 130 hectare, bestaande uit 30 hectare wijngaarden, bossen en weiden, was een van de eersten in Emilia Romagna die een biologische certificering behaalde.Het vinificatieproces van Cadelvento Blanc de Blancs
Deze witte wijn bestaat volledig uit Chardonnay druiven die aangeplant staan op een bodem van zand en klei. Hierdoor heeft de Chardonnay druif een bijzonder karakter kunnen ontwikkelen. De druiven worden in de wijnkelder voorzichtig geperst en daarop volgt een temperatuur gecontroleerde fermentatie. Hierna vindt de tweede fermentatie plaats volgens de Long Charmat methode die 6 maanden duurt. De Cadelvento Blanc de Blancs kleurt lichtgeel in het glas met een fijne geur met bloemige tonen en aromatische kruiden. In de smaak evenwichtig en aangenaam zacht met een heerlijk fris karakter. Oil and fragrance free for sensitive skin
Oil free which is good for contact lens wearers. Relatively thick textured material so I can use just one pad for both eyes. Ok for sensitive skin with no fragrance. I've used these for years and the quality has remained consistent despite the reasonable price.

A 5-star product is now barely 2-stars. Shame!
I have used these makeup remover pads for years as I wear contacts and have sensitive skin around my eyes. However, the last 3-pack I ordered (Feb 2026), the pad is noticeably sub-par. They are much thinner, there is no quilted texture on one side, and they roll up immediately when you start to rub your eyes with them. In addition, I have to use 4-5 pads to get everything off vs. previously I could easily just use one on each eye. Obviously I will go through them much faster and every time I use them, I get frustrated by how bad the quality is now. Another product victim to shrinkflation and using cheaper materials, but charging the same amount or more than before.
Do they do the job removing the makeup - yes.
Do they do so without burning my eyes or leaving an oily residue - yes.
But knowing how great they used to be, I can only give the current product 2 stars.

Excellent product!
I have used this product for years but since retired much less. However when I actually needed it again I couldn't find it anywhere and when I did buying just one was pretty expensive. So I decided to wait until the price dropped...but it never happened. I never even thought of trying Amazon but I did and got an amazing deal of a 3 pack at a very reasonable price. The oil is rich, soothing and so emollient and cleans my brows and eye lashes perfectly! I keep one in my fridge which is especially soothing during warm summer days and helps to reduce under eye puffiness. Accolades to Amazon...you never let me down!

Great product

My favorite facial wipes. Gentle to your skin, no alcohol, no burning on the eyes! These wipes clean well make up and don't get dry in the package. Expensive though, hope the price won't go up to make us give up on them.

The only thing that works for me

I love these face wipes so much. I cannot use soap due to all the problems I have with my skin. It's so finicky.. I have rosacea with painful P&P and also flare ups of adult acne. I take a med to keep my oil production under control, but that means I end up with a few flakey patches on my cheeks. These are the ONLY face wipes that I've found that not only remove almost all (more on that in a moment) of the makeup I'm wearing, but also seem to help keep my redness under control. I've tried Aveeno Ultra-Calming wipes which profess to help with redness and even those are way too harsh for my skin. The Aveeno wipes make my face sting horrible, leave a greasy residue, and have a smell that is not very pleasant. The Simple wipes take off WAY more makeup than those, or any other wipe, I've tried and leave my skin feeling actually clean and calm.
The only routine that I've found that keeps my skin looking decent is to use these to remove the majority of my makeup and then follow up with Simple Micellar Water
on a cotton pad to remove any further traces. I follow that up with a few spritzes of
(rosewater is supposed to help with redness too) and then moisturize with
- which doesn't have SPF (which makes my rosacea flare up). It sounds like a lot of steps, but it takes me 3 minutes, tops.
I'd just like to add too for those saying that these don't remove waterproof mascara - well, yeah. I would want neither a "gentle" face wipe that was harsh enough to remove waterproof mascara, nor a mascara that was wimpy enough to be removed with a gentle wipe... that would mean it would also come off every time my eyes watered or even just blinked. Just use an oil-free eye makeup remover before using these.
