Voor de pan is een gat uitgespaard met een diameter van 24cm, zo kan je extra hoge temperaturen halen omdat de pan in direct contact is met het vuur. Aan de buitenrand van het gat zitten sleuven om net dat beetje extra hitte vuur rondom de pan te krijgen en niet alleen de bodem

Meegeleverd zijn twee tools om de plaat te verwijderen van de Braai, geheel toevallig in de vorm van een bieropener.
